Mr. and Mrs. Dan Scott announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Allison Michelle, to Stephen Smith Roach, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hal Roach Jr. of Statesboro, Ga.
The bride-to-be graduated from Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School in 2001 and received an AB in English and Studio Art from the University of Georgia in 2005 and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2008. She is an attorney at Kilpatrick Stockton in Atlanta, GA. She is the granddaughter of Betty and Dr. Curtis Cox of Trenton, the late Edward Scott and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pohle of St. Louis.
The groom-to-be graduated from Statesboro High School in 2000 and received a bachelor of business administration in real estate and finance from the University of Georgia in 2004 and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2008. He is an attorney at Troutman Sanders in Atlanta. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John W. Eubanks and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hal Roach Sr.
The couple will be married at the Presbyterian Church in Joplin on Saturday, July 17, 2010.
