Stewart Anniversary
Eddie and Nancy Stewart of Spickard will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 3, 2010. Friends and family are invited to attend an open house on that same day from 2 to 4 p.m. at the 10th Street Baptist Church in Trenton
The couple met on a blind date in on Valentine’s Day and married just a few months later on July 3, 1960 at the Lobb Presbyterian Church in Independence. They are the parents of four children, Deb (Jay) Meyers of St Joseph, Tim Stewart of Denair CA, Todd (Allison) Stewart of St. Joseph, and Kimberly Stewart. They also have seven grandchildren, Kaylee, Andy, and Tayler Meyers, Lauren and Linsey Stewart and Carson and Sofia Stewart.
The couple plan to continue their celebration with an Alaskan Cruise in August. The couple request no gifts. Cards may be sent to their home at 2923 Oklahoma Ave., Trenton, MO 64683.
