Several Trenton armwrestlers placed at the Gooseberry Festival Armwrestling Championships last weekend. Four youth divisions were full of Trenton armwrestlers.

In the four-and-under division Gavin Cagle took first, Jozie Rorebeck was second and Hunter Limkemann finished third. All three were from Trenton. Trenton’s Riley Rorebeck and Makina Limkemann were first and second respectively in the five-to-six division and Trenton’s Carlin Rorebeck and Cole Rorebeck were first and second respectively in the boys seven-to-nine division. In the boys 10-12 division, Isaac Chamberlin took third and Tanner Christian was fourth. Both are Trenton armwrestlers as well.
In the adult divisions, seven Trenton armwrestlers had placewinning performances. Samuel Corwin took first in the 221-and-over class of the men’s right hand division, second in the 221-and-over class of the men’s novice right hand division and second in the 221-and-over class in the men’s left hand division. David Cunningham was second in the 220-and-under class of the men’s right hand division and third in the 177-220 class of the men’s left hand division. Heather Rorebeck was third in the 154-and-under class of the women’s right hand division and third in the open class of the women’s left hand division.
Other Trenton individuals placing included Ron Miller, who was third in the 221-and-over class in the men’s left hand division; Jeremy Cagle, who was second in the 177-198 class of the men’s novice right hand division; John Limkemann, who was third in the 177-198 class of the men’s novice right hand division; and Eric Cunningham, who was second in the 176-and-under class of the men’s novice right hand division.
