Robert E. “Bob” Davis, a 61-year-old resident of St. Joseph, died on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home and Crematory in St. Joseph. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Leavenworth Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was born on Aug. 24, 1948 in St. Joseph, the son of Edward Elza and Gwendolyn Lee Feil Davis. He was a life-long resident of St. Joseph and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of VFW Post No 6760.
He is survived by two daughters, Holly Wells and her husband, Mike of Savannah and Heather Peden and her husband, Shane, of Highland, KS; a sister, Marie Untiedt and her husband, Butch of Trenton; an uncle, Ronald Gilbert and his wife, Pat of St. Joseph; an aunt, Sharon Goodin of St. Joseph; and three grandchildren, Hunter Lee and Madalyn Louise Wells and Taylor “T.C.” Peden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Angela Marie.
