The grandson of Trenton residents will playing in two all-star games in the next several days.
Christian Brinser will be the punter for the Missouri football team when it takes on a squad of players from the state of Kansas tonight in the Missouri-Kansas All-Star Game being played in Kansas City. Then on Monday, June 21, Brinser will be playing in the Missouri-Kansas All-Star Baseball Game in a 3 p.m. match-up at Royals Stadium. Brinser will be playing second base.

A 2010 graduate of Liberty High School, Brinser is the son of Robert and Kathy Brinser of Liberty, formerly of Trenton and the grandson of Bill and Ann Brinser, Tom and Dixie Pickett and June Pickett, all of Trenton. He will be a freshman at the University of Missouri-Columbia this fall.
