Larry Dannar, who is serving as the construction coordinator for the visit, said 148 youth from six states will be coming to Trenton June 22-25 to work on 13 projects. There are 15 churches from the area who are assisting with the program by providing food and funds to help pay for costs. The students are required to pay $249 each to participate in World Changers, with those funds going for food and other related expenses. Money for the projects comes from a grant from the USDA as well as donations from organizations, businesses, groups and churches. The youth go to work at 7 o’clock each morning and work until around 4:30 each afternoon. They have devotion time in the evening as well as some social activities.
During the business meeting, President Scott Forman announced that District Gov. John Gill would be at next week’s meeting and asked those present to remind other members to be at that meeting. He also said that Foundation donations are due by June 30 and that the committee reports and officer installation would be held on July 24.
Next week’s program chairman is Linda Kennebeck. Steve  Maxey, Charles Hoffman and Bill Robbins will speak on the Barton Farm Campus project.
