Funeral services for Linda Thrun will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at The Salvation Army in Albert Lea, MN. Capt. James Brickson will officiate.

Mrs. Thrun, 57-year-old resident of 1429 Mable St. in Trenton, died at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2006 at her residence.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Salvation Army.
Burial will be in the State Line Cemetery in rural Northwood, IA. The Bonnerup Funeral Home in Albert Lea is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Thrun was born on May 29, 1951 in Albert Lea, MN, the daughter of Walter Sr. and Alvina Nimz Lenze. She was raised in Albert Lea. She was married on Feb. 16, 2001 at Albert Lea to Larry Thrun, who survives of the home. They moved to Trenton four years ago.
She was a member of the Salvation Army Church. She enjoyed woodworking, collecting horses, playing Bingo, playing games with her friends and watching movies.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents, Walter and Alvina Lenze of Albert Lea; two sons, DeWayne Carlsgaard and his wife, Jenny of St. James, MN and Gerald Carlsgaard Jr. of Mankato, MN; two daughters, Wendy Heine and her husband, Brian and Christina Jensen, all of Albert Lea; a sister, Julie Parmenter of Albert Lea; two brothers, Walter Jr. and his wife, Cindy, and John Lenze and his wife, Barb, all of Albert Lea; and eight grandchildren, David Schlaak, Dustin Schlaak, Hunter Carlsgaard, Peyton Carlsgaard, Cheyenne Thorson, Dianna Heine, Morgan Nye, Tyler Nye, Dalton Thrun, Michael Thrun; and several step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald Carlsgaard Sr. and Conrad Jensen; a brother-in-law, Raymond Parmenter; and her grandparents.
