Capt. Katy Erickson Gibson has returned to the United States after serving 15 months in Iraq and earning the Bronze Star.

Capt. Gibson, a pediatrician with the 3rd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army, served at Camp Ramadi, Iraq for 15 months. During her time in Iraq, she earned the Bronze Star for her service. Capt. Gibson is married to Trenton native Jeremy Gibson, the son of Ken and Cora Gibson, who is also a captain and a physician in the U.S. Army. The couple is currently living in Puyallup, WA, but is moving to Martinez, GA, where he will be stationed.
