She lived around Jamesport most of her life. She attended the Blake School and other rural schools as the family moved several times in the area.
She was married on Jan. 16, 1926 to Ralph Dunn, who preceded her in death in 1961. The family moved in 1941 to a general store, managing the store and later purchasing it from the Fender family. After the death of her husband, she continued to operate the store for 12 years and sold it in 1975, when she married Raymond Wickizer. They moved to his farm north of Jamesport, then moved to Trenton.
She was a member of the Jamesport Baptist church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lowell Dean; four brothers, James, Warren, Donald and Howard Bunnell; and a sister, Esteline Burrell.
