NCMC Seeks Alumni Nominees

Nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award from Trenton Junior College/North Central Missouri College are now being accepted and are due on Aug. 1.

Individuals who attended either TJC or NCMC are eligible for consideration with selection to be formally announced at the college’s annual gala set for Saturday, Oct. 11.
To nominate an alum (either a graduate or someone who attended classes at the local community college), a nomination form must be completed and forwarded to the Office of Development on the NCMC campus. Forms will also be available on the college website at www.ncmissouri.edu. All nominations will remain confidential as well as the individual responsible for submitting the nomination.
Criteria for the selection of the honorees in addition to community college attendance includes success in their chosen profession, support to the local college (not constituted by the amount of financial support made) and community involvement including church, civic and family activities.
Alumni honorees do not have to reside in the immediate area and deceased alumni are not eligible for consideration at the time of recognition.
Previous members of the Distinguished Class of Alumni have included Larry D. Barnes, Marcaline Wilson Brown, Bruce Constant, Phyllis Jackson Dible, Robert Gallup, Betty Frances Hall, Charles Hoffman, Chris Hoffman, Frank Hoffman, Dr. John Holcomb, Lloyd and Margaret Hoover Ketcham, Marian Aber-nathy McCarty, R. Leroy Miller, William Robbins, Phil Schlarb, Dr. Lester Skaggs, Dr. Mark Foster St. Claire, Dr. David Witten and Donald and Letha Mack Woodard.
