Head Coach Donnie Hillerman of the North Central Missouri College Pirates baseball team has announced three baseball camps to be held in Trenton this summer. The camps will be held at Burleigh Grimes Field. In the event of rain, the camps will be moved to the Ketcham Community Center and the indoor hitting facility on the campus of NCMC.

A one-day camp will be held on June 17 and is designated for youth, ages seven through nine. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will focus on fundamentals and sportsmanship. The cost for the camp will be $40 and includes lunch and a t-shirt. A similar camp will be held on July 22. Multiple-sibling discounts are available.
A three-day camp is set for July 29-31 and is designated for youth ages 10 through 15. Instruction will be geared toward sportsmanship, hitting, fielding, base running and pitching. Both overnight and commuter options are available for participants in this camp. Overnight campers will have evening and morning meals, a pool party, movie night and other activities included in their registration fee.
All camps will be managed by Coach Hillerman, who has an extensive background in baseball that includes 10 years as head baseball coach at Florissant Valley as well as being a hitting instructor for the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier Pro Baseball League.
