Dorothy Maxine Boyer, a 95-year-old resident of Moline, IL died on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Parkview Healthcare Center, East Moline. She was a former Trenton resident.

Mrs. Boyer was born on Jan. 14, 1913 in Trenton, the daughter of Floyd and Edith Hile Winter. She graduated from Trenton High School in 1931. She was married on Sept. 17, 1932 in Chillicothe to Elmer Ernest “Pete” Boyer, who preceded her in death in 1985. She became a homemaker upon her marriage.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Leatha Boyer of East Moline and Huel and Susanne Boyer of East Moline; five grandchildren, Robert, Scott, Todd and Jerry Boyer and Laura Crispin; five great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jared and Stephanie Boyer and Aidan and Brendan Crispin; a brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Sonna Winter of Jefferson City and Virginia Rusk of Tucson, AZ.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Neil Boyer; a grandson, Steven Boyer; four sisters; and one brother.
