Lannie Harkins presided at the business meeting. Following the pledge to the U.S. flag, Doris Carter gave the prayer.
John Carter reported delivering 280 pair of eyeglasses to Columbia. Flowers were sent to Jim Crow and Robert Greiner.
Acknowledgement was received from Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder to Jim Bush for bringing him to Trenton during his recent visit. Bob Lewis gave him a tour of the new law enforcement center and the city.
It was announced that the Lions Club snack shack will be open on Friday and Saturday night during the Gooseberry Festival.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, May 27 with George Moore as program chairman.
