Wilma Medlin, an 87-year-old resident of Unionville, died on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the home of a daughter in Independence.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008 at the Unionville Cemetery in Unionville, under the direction of the Playle and Jones Family Funeral Home in Unionville.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Jobe and her husband, James, of Independence; two sisters, Elsie Carmichael and Thelma Shriver; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
