Louise Gee, a 90-year-old long-time Trenton resident and current resident of Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, died at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the nursing home, where she had been a resident since April 2007.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008 at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be in the Maple Wood Cemetery at Clarence.
Open visitation will begin after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at the mortuary. A scheduled visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to service time.
Mrs. Gee was born on May 30, 1917 in Clarence, the daughter of Joseph G. and Lula D. Evans Whiles. She took care of her parents until their deaths. She was married on Oct. 4, 1946 in Kansas City to John N. Gee, who preceded her in death on March 16, 1982. She was a proud supporter of Christian and Veterans organizations.
Mrs. Gee was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and former member of the Macon Methodist Church, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Gee is survived by a niece, Julia Hutcheson and her husband, Gary, of Oskaloosa, IA.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
