Katrina L. Miller, 27, 107 E. 23rd St., pleaded guilty to an amended charge of failing to stop for a stop sign (the original charge of operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident by sliding through an intersection) and was fined $17.50 and $58.50 costs. She also pleaded guilty to failing to provide valid insurance and was fined $27.50 and $58.50 costs. She also pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and was fined $150.50, $106.50 costs and $10 to the Crime Victim’s Compensation Fund.
Robert L. Sharp, 27, Trenton, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle on the highway while his license was revoked (third offense) and was ordered to serve 11 days in the Grundy County Detention Center and was given credit for time served. He is also to pay $104.50 costs and $10 to the CVCF.
Timothy W. Stark, 27, 412 W. 13th St., pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to an amended charge of misdemeanor passing bad checks (the original charge was a felony) and was fined $100, $106.50 costs and $10 to the CVCF. He pleaded guilty to to another charge of passing bad checks and was fined $100, $106.50 costs and $10 to the CVCF. Three other charges of passing bad checks were dismissed.
Moses Miranda, 37, Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to failing to stop for a stop sign and was fined $17.50 and $58.50 costs.
Darrell L. Williams II, 24, 1607 Main St., waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to Division I on charges of driving while revoked or suspended. Trial-setting was scheduled for June 12.
Ricky W. King, 34, 142 S. Main St., pleaded guilty to peace disturbance and was fined $25.50, $114.50 costs and $10 to the CVCF.
Jacob R. Ewing, 24, 515 W. 13th St., pleaded guilty to an amended charge of stealing (the original charge was second degree burglary) and was sentenced to serve two days in the Grundy County Detention Center, pay $106.50 costs and $10 to the CVCF.
Trent D. Blackburn, 27, 1812 Hillcrest Dr., had his cases certified to Division I for jury trial on charges of refusal to disperse and interfering with an arrest.
Dawn E. Riggle, 23, Jamesport, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle for which no financial responsibility was maintained and was fined $27.50 and $58.50 costs.
David B. Dowell, 44. 140 E. Fifth St., waived formal arraignment and had his case bound over to Division I on charges of non-support. Trial-setting was scheduled for June 12.
