The Trenton High School Band has several activities planned next week, including a concert with fifth grade band members.

The high school band will perform for residents at Sunnyview Nursing Home and Eastview Manor Care Center on Tuesday, May 13 as part of the Nursing Home Week activities. The concert at Sunnyview will be at 6:30 p.m., with members practicing their parade march to Eastview, where they will perform at 7:10 p.m. The band will be taping the marching portion of the event for the 2009 National Memorial Day Parade application. The public is invited to attend either or both performances as well as the marching session.
The spring high school band concert will be on Thursday, May 15 in the high school gym. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and will also include performances by the fifth grade recorder student, who will play first. The band will perform at around 7:10 p.m.
