James Dannatt of Trenton recently enlisted in the Missouri Army National Guard and will serve with the 548th Transportation Company in Trenton.

Dannatt will attend monthly weekend Recruit Sustainment Program drills in St. Joseph until he reports to Ft. Jackson, SC for basic training later this month. He will later receive instruction for his military occupational specialty as a motor transportation operator.
Dannatt will graduate from Trenton High School in 2009. He is the son of Jim and Julie Frey of Trenton.
