Judge Jack Peace
Jamey A. Griffin, 26, 923 Normal St., pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle on the highway while his driver’s license was revoked and was sentenced to 60 days in the Grundy County Detention Center. He also pleaded guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, prior offender, (the original charge was a felony DWI as a persistent offender) and was sentenced to serve 60 days in the Grundy County Detention Center. He pleaded guilty to an amended charge of assault (the original charge was burglary) and was sentenced to serve 180 days in jail. Execution of that sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years, with the condition that he not have contact with the victim other than during the exchange of custody. He was given credit for time served. A charge of driving a vehicle to the left side of the roadway within 100 feet of an intersection or railroad grade crossing was dismissed.
Brian D. Meek, 36, 511 E. Ninth Ct., waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to three counts of non-support. His case was set for June 12.
Gary D. Hanes, 45, 2304 Mable St., waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to non-support and had his case set for May 15.
Robert L. Ellis, 22, Trenton, had his probation revoked on a charge of second degree burglary and was ordered to serve the sentence of seven years in the Department of Corrections. The sentence will run concurrently with one in Jackson County.
Jeffrey Petrie, 23, Trenton, had his motion for a new trial on a charge of abuse of a child, resulting in death, granted. He then pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to serve seven years in the Department of Corrections.
Timothy J. Hogan, 33, 555 N.E. Highway NN, had his probation revoked on an original charge of failing to register as a sex offender and had his sentence of three years in the Department of Corrections ordered executed.
Michael A. Wilson, 21, 55 S.E.15th Ave., had his probation revoked on an original charge of unlawful use of a weapon. He was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections, with the court retaining jurisdiction for 120 days. He is to be placed on shock incarceration.
Mark A. Templeton, 21, Trenton, pleased guilty to one count of non-support, with three counts dismissed. Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years, with the condition that he complete the Parents Fair Share program and pay $51 per month until further adjustments are made.
Scott Riddle, 34, 202 Debolt St., had his stay of execution set aside and was ordered to serve the sentence of four years in the Department of Corrections on an original charge of passing bad checks. The court retained jurisdiction for 120 days.
Michael L. White, 53, Galt, pleaded guilty to driving while revoked and was sentenced to serve two years in the Department of Corrections. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years and was ordered to serve 10 days shock incarceration at the Grundy County Detention Center.
Dean A. Gugin, 44, Chillicothe, was sentenced to serve seven years in the Department of Corrections on each of two charges of forgery, to which he had pleaded guilty. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years.
Ingrid Taylor, 35, Trenton, pleaded guilty to stealing and had imposition of her sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for two years.
Tammy Thomas, 40, Craig, had the stay of execution previously ordered set aside and was ordered to serve three years in the Department of Corrections on charges of passing bad checks. The sentence is to run concurrently with sentences in Daviess, Dekalb and Clay counties.
Wendell M. Bobert, 24, Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to non-support, with two other counts of non-support dismissed. Sentencing was set for June 12.
Michael P. Bosley vs. State of Missouri. Bosley’s petition for a reduction of his sentence on charges of distribution or sale of a controlled substance was denied.
