Preschool and kindergarten roundup in the Laredo R-7 School District will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 18 at the school.

Three-, four- and five-year-olds will be screened during that time and the Dial-3 assessment will also be administered. A child who will be four years of age by Aug. 1 will be eligible for the preschool program.
Students who are currently attending preschool will need to sign up for kindergarten screening, which will include checks of vision, hearing, growth, speech and language developments. Parents should bring the child’s birth certificate, immunization records and Social Security card to the screening session.
