The Grundy County Commission accepted bids for concrete and fuel, while tabling a bid for mowing during a meeting held Tuesday.

Grundy County Clerk Kristi Urich said the commission accepted the lone bid receive for concrete, which was submitted by Wahoo Concrete. The bid was for $86.50 for a five-bag mix and $106 for an eight-bag mix. The bid for gas and diesel fuel for all county vehicles went to the low bidder of two, Landes Oil. The county will pay 4 cents off the pump price. Bids for mowing will be considered at a later date.
