Memorial services for Robert John Wilson were held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Lake Presbyterian Church in Osage Beach.

Mr. Wilson, a 67-year-old resident of Osage Beach, died of a massive stroke while on vacation in Salt Lake City, UT on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008. He was the brother of Dyle Wilson of Trenton.
Mr. Wilson was a retired electrical engineer, having worked for General Motors, International Harvester, Viskase and Union Carbide Corporation. In his retirement he was an adjunct professor at the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly MSM-UMR). He was also a graduate of Missouri University of Science and Technology and Northern Illinois University.
Besides his brother, Dyle, and sister-in-law, Donna, he is survived by his wife, Julia, of the home; two daughters, Annette Marie Hintz and her husband, Phil, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Kathie Sgiers and her husband, Paulo, of Oswego, IL: and four grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Robert and Dyle Wilson Scholarship at Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla; Student Design and Experiential Center at Missouri University of Science and Technology; or the Ozarks Shrine Club in Osage Beach.
