Washington State senior Robbie Cowgill has been named to the ESPN the Magazine District VIII All-Academic first team by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Cowgill currently holds a 3.36 grade point average in management of operations and will graduate this spring from the Honors College at Washington State.

It is the second-straight year Cowgill has earned the honor after being named to the All-Academic second team a year ago. Cowgill, an Austin, TX, native, is the son of Mike Cowgill of Tablishi, Republic of Georgia and Becky Wise of Austin, TX. Robbie is the grandson of Martha Wise of Galt and Mary Ann and Charley Clark of Milan.
