Screenings for children in the Trenton R-9 School District who will be attending preschool next year will be held on March 28 and 31 and April 1 and 2.
R-9 Preschool Screenings Set
Screenings are open to children of families in the R-9 District who will be age 3 by Aug. 1 of this year. The child will receive a development screening and speech evaluation. On the screening date, parents are asked to bring a certified copy of their child’s birth certificate, their immunization records, their Social Security number and proof of residence, such as a utility bill in your name, driver’s license, etc.
Three- and four-year-olds who are tested may qualify for the KEYS Program, administered by the Pleasant View R-6 School District. The program provides activities one-half day, four days a week. There is no cost and transportation is provided.
