Memorial services for Carl J. LeBlanc will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday March 3, 2008 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.

Burial of cremains will follow military graveside services by Joseph L. Norton VFW Post No. 919 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
Mr. LeBlanc, a 78-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 27, 2008 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron.
Mr. LeBlanc was born on Dec. 18, 1929 in New Orleans, LA, the son of Wilson and Reta Rogers LeBlanc Sr. He graduated from New Orleans High School in 1947. He was long-time Trenton businessman, owning and operating LeBlanc Construction Company and the Startlight Skate Center. His hobby was making knives.
He was a member of the Catholic Church and also was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Marines.
He was married at Gallatin on July 18, 1963 to Luretta Hann Croy, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by three sons, Larry Croy and his wife, Sharon, of Happy, TX, Garry Croy and his wife, Bev, of Trenton, and J.D. LeBlanc of Altoona, IA; six grandchildren, Wes Croy and his wife, Jenni, of Trenton, Lance Croy and his wife, Tinna, of Maysville, Jill Watkins and her husband, Wes, of Liberty, John Croy of Dalhart,TX, Emily Fisher and her husband, Doug, of Kearney, and Dustin LeBlanc of Altoona; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Wilson LeBlanc Jr; and one grandson, Michael Croy.
Memorials have been requested to the North Missouri Saddle Club and may be left at the funeral home.
