The Trenton sixth grade boys traveling team played three games Saturday afternoon and finished third in the Carrollton Root Middle School Basketball Tournament.

Lane Beverlin led the way with 18 points in the tournament. Mason Taylor finished with 14 and Charlie Hoffman had seven. Also scoring for Trenton were Kody Westcott, Chase Tolson and Mason Larson, who scored six points; Wilson Utley and Isaiah Swann, who scored four points; and Chris Kurtz, who scored one point.
Trenton returns to action this Saturday in the YMCA March Madness Tournament in Chillicothe.
