Judy C. Hurt, a 60-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Monday morning Feb. 25, 2008 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Steve Bramblett officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
There is no scheduled family visitation. Open visitation is under way at the funeral home.
Miss Hurt was born on Feb. 27, 1947 in Trenton, the daughter of John Emery and Agnes Josephine Johnson Hurt. She lived in Grundy County most of her life.
Survivors include her mother, Agnes Hurt of the home; three sisters, Janet Elliott of Trenton, Joyce Wilford and her husband, Jack, of Goldsboro, NC and Janie Bland and her husband, Randy, of Spickard; nine nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
