The Grundy County Commission made an appointment and held a public hearing during the morning portion of its meeting held today.
The commission appointed Grundy County Health Department Administrator Kim Oaks to serve as the county health officer, something that is done annually, and held a public hearing to receive input on a Community Development Block Grant that would providing funding to replace nine bridges in the county. That grant application is due in May.
