Mrs. Amber L. Wilson, an 84-year-old resident of Spickard, died on Saturday morning, Feb. 23, 2008 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, 2008 at the Spickard Christian Church. Rev. Jeremy Skinner officiated. Burial was at the Spickard Masonic Cemetery in Spickard.
Mrs. Wilson was born on Nov. 7, 1923 in Humphreys, the daughter of John Wesley and Cora Silvina Vanderpool Sharp. She attended Grundy County schools. She was a life long resident of Spickard area. She was a member of Spickard Christian Church in Spickard
She was married at Princeton on Oct. 14, 1939 to Leroy A. Wilson, who preceded her in death on June 4,1990.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Richardson and her husband, Paul, of Overland Park, KS and Dorothy Batson and her husband, Carl, of Trenton; one son, Fred Wilson and his wife, Barbara, of Trenton; one daughter-in-law, Birdie Wilson of Trenton; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers. Leland Sharp and Ralph Sharp; two sisters, Dorothy McLaughlin and Lorene Wagner; one son, Larry Wilson; one grandson Randy Wilson; and one great-granddaughter, Erica May.
Memorials are suggested to the the Wright Memorial Hospice of Trenton, They may be left at the funeral home.
