Larry Wilson, a 65-year-old Trenton resident, died at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb, 20, 2008 at his home, where he was under hospice care.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008 at Half Rock Cemetery, northeast of Trenton.
A visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Open visitation is under way at the mortuary.
Mr. Wilson was born on Oct. 23, 1942 in Mercer County, the son of Leroy and Amber Sharp Wilson. He attended Spickard schools. He enlisted in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1964.
He was married on Dec. 23, 1965 in Chillicothe to Birdie Hamilton, who survives of the home. Mr. Wilson was employed with ConAgra Foods in Trenton, retiring in 2006. He was a member of the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Rose Gear and her husband, Randy, of Trenton, and Rebecca Wilson of the home; his mother, Amber Wilson of Trenton; a grandson, Dakota Wendt of Trenton; a brother, Fred Wilson of Trenton; and two sisters. Dorothy Batson of Trenton and Barbara Richardson of Overland Park, KS.
He was preceded in death by his father and a granddaughter, Erica May.
