Robert E. Donovan, a 79-year-old resident of Kansas City, died on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008.

Robert E. Donovan
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 22, 2008 at Kansas City Baptist Temple. Visitation will be at 6 p.m., followed by funeral service at 7 p.m. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 at May Cemetery in Chula.
Mr. Donovan was born in Chula, the son of George B. and Elna Donovan, He grew up in the Trenton area. He was an Army veteran. He retired in 1986 after 30 years of service with the Kansas City Fire Department. He was member of Kansas City Baptist Temple.
Mr. Donovan is survived by his wife Jacqueline Donovan; three sons, Doyle Donovan and his wife, Heizel, George Donovan and his wife, Carol, and Brian Donovan and his wife, Trina; two daughters, Dawn Allan and Darla Miller and her husband, Kevin; 15 grandchildren; a brother, Dr. Uhl Donovan; a sister, Shirley Sharpe; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the M.A.R.S. offering at Kansas City Baptist Church or to the any other organization of the donor’s choice.
