The Princeton Chamber of Commerce met Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the Senior Center at noon with seven members and one guest present.

President Donna Herdrich conducted the meeting, during which time the group voted to donate $100 to the Mother’s Club for candy for the Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt, which will be held at 1 p.m. on March 15 at the PSF Educational Building. All children are invited to attend.
Free Fishing Day was discussed, but plans were tabled until the group can talk to Jim Palmer about the new boats at Lake Paho.
Plans were made for the membership banquet on April 13. Bids will be taken for the catered meal.
A Battle of the Bands is being planned. A committee will be formed to take care of the details and the date.
Fireworks and the 4th of July were discussed. The fireworks order and date will be discussed with Glen Kirby as he is an intregal part of the celebration.
The fire department has indicated it would not be able to do the parade for Calamity Jane Day 2008. Another organization is being sought for this job.
Members of the Princeton Chamber for 2008 are Grundy Electric, Hagan’s Auto Body, Dick Hoover Construction, Grand River Mutual, Ron Hulett Auto, Dewey’s Dig’n, Kim’s Cut’n, Marko’s, Great Western Bank, Shelter Insurance, Greenlee-Martin Funeral Service, KTTN/KGOZ and The Famous. The next meeting will be held at noon on March 12 at the Senior Center.
