The Trenton Vipers fifth and sixth grade basketball team placed second from among five teams in the sixth grade boys division of the Maysville Elementary Tournament.

The Vipers fell in game one to the Coleman Cougars of St. Joseph, 25-18. Scoring for Trenton were Alex Curtis with 12 points while Cade Mullenix, Cree Mullenix and Chance Houghton had two each. Elliott O’Neal had 10 rebounds.
The Vipers defeated the Bethany sixth grade boys, 20-16. Curtis scored seven points and Cree Mullenix had five points. Tanner Hudson, O’Neal, Cade Mullenix and Bailey Owen scored two each.
In the final game, the Vipers defeated the Stewartsville sixth grade team, 34-24. Curtis scored 16 points while Houghton added 10. Cree Mullenix put in six points and Hudson scored two.
