The Trenton Fire Department was called to a flue fire Tuesday evening.

According to firefighters, they were called to the home of Jeff and Pam Bowden at 2412 Meadowlark Lame, however the fire was already out when they arrived. They remained on the scene for about 15 minutes to investigate and make sure the fire was completely out. The Grundy County Rural Fire Protection District provided assistance, with the Grundy County Ambulance Service standing by on the scene.
