Funeral services for William Henry “Bill” Rosenstangle will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton.

Burial and military graveside rites will be held in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A scheduled family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, 2008 at the mortuary.
Mr. Rosenstangle, an 81-year-old former Trenton resident, died at 3:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at his home in Sunrise Beach.
Mr. Rosenstangle was born on May 9, 1926 at Trenton, the son of Orval Gus and Hallie Mae Mapel Rosenstangle. He was raised in Trenton and he served in the United States Army during WWII. After the war he returned to Trenton and on Nov. 25, 1949 he was married to Bonnie Vance at Chillicothe. Mr. Rosenstangle was employed by the Rock Island Railroad for 42 years and at the time of his retirement he was a conductor. They moved to Sunrise Beach to make their home after he retired.
He was a member of the Crandall United Methodist Church, the Trenton Masonic Lodge # 111 AF&AM, the Sundancers and the Moila Shrine in St. Joseph.
Mr. Rosenstangle is survived by his wife, Bonnie Rosenstangle of the home; a son, Stephen (Rhonda) Rosenstangle and a daughter, Pam (John) Mills, both of Sunrise Beach; a brother, Charles Rosenstangle of Trenton; two sisters, June Potter of Trenton and Marge Morgan of Lancaster; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Rosenstangle; and a sister, Nadine Shirley.
