Airman Zachery W. Sampson of Trenton was graduated from Air Force Basic Training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX on Friday, Jan. 11.

Airman Sampson was part of the 320th Training Squad/Flight 104 and among nearly 700 airmen graduating on that day. He placed second highest in his flight in points, earning the designation of Thunderbolt.
Airman Sampson is currently still stationed at Lackland in security forces training. Upon completion, he will receive his first base assignment.
Airman Sampson is a 2007 graduate of Trenton High School and the son of David and Kim Sampson of Trenton. He is also the grandson of Herb and Linda Gates of Trenton, Harry and Sandy Sampson of Galt and Jan and Butch Babcock of Reed City, MI.
