William Woods University is offering Princeton area residents the opportunity to pursue a master of education or specialist of education degree without quitting work.

The programs will begin with an orientation on Wednesday, Feb. 6 in Room 105 of the Princeton High School. the master’s orientation is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. with the specialist’s orientation to follow at 6:30. Prospective students are encouraged to contact the university’s Graduate and Adult Studies Program prior to then, but walk-ins will be accepted. The 36-credit master’s program has three tracks, with students being able to study administration, curriculum and instruction or athletics/activities administration. The specialist of education allows individuals to prepare for certification as a superintendent as well as preparing persons to pursue a doctorate degree.
