The city of Cainsville is having its first chili cookoff on Saturday, April 5.

Cainsville Chili Cookoff Set
The event will also include a flea market, arts and crafts and music.
Table space for the chili cookoff is available at a cost of $10 while flea market/arts and crafts space of 25 feet will be available for $5. Music will be provided from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and officials are stilling looking for two more local groups to perform in the 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. time slots.
Money raised at the event will go to help support the Love Shop, a thrift store opened last year in Cainsville.
