The Grundy County Commission announced Wednesday that a bridge has been closed in rural north Trenton after failing to pass inspection.

The bridge is located on Northeast 90th Street, just off Route Y in the north part of the county. Commissioners said the bridge and road would be closed until further notice.
The commission was also continuing work on the 2008 county budget.
