Hybrid Wolf Has Been Sighted

Jan 10, 2008 | Conservation, Sports & Recreation

Several residents in the south part of Trenton have reported sightings of what is apparently a wolf in that area of town.
According to Grundy County Conservation Agent Jeff Berti, the sightings are most likely of a wolf hybrid, the result of a wolf being bred with a domesticated dog.

“The wolf is not exhibiting the normal behavior of a wild animal, not being scared of cars and remaining in the area a long period to be seen several times,” Berti said.
Berti believes the animal is probably someone’s pet and and is asking anyone who can take a picture of the wolf to contact him at 359-6288.
