The Grundy County Collector/Treasurer’s Office will be open Saturday, Dec. 29 to allow residents an additional opportunity to pay their 2007 taxes prior to the Dec. 31 deadline.

The office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Dec. 29 and until 5 p.m. on Dec. 31. In addition, the county clerk’s office and the assessor’s office will also be open on Dec. 29 for those who need to take care of items affecting their taxes. Grundy County Collector/Treasurer Colleen Kidd is reminding taxpayers that they need to look at their tax bills closely and if there are any changes that need to be made, it will take 24 hours to implement the changes.
