Lillie M. Shuler, an 83-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Thursday, afternoon, Dec. 13, 2007 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. Rev. Jesse Cass will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Trenton,.
A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 o’clock tonight (Friday, Dec. 14, 2007) at the funeral home.
Miss Shuler, was born on June 5, 1924 in Trenton, the daughter of Gilbert Olie and Maudie Mae Brinser Shuler. She attended Grundy County grade schools. She lived in Rock Island, IL, where she was employed at the Trinity Lutheran Hospital for over 40 years as a baker.
She is survived by three brothers, Melvin Shuler and his wife, Frances, of Jamesport, Junior Shuler and his wife, Judy, of Trenton and Jessie Shuler and his wife, Lucille, of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Virginia Dowell and Mary Craw-ford; and four brothers, Clarence Shuler, Jimmie Shuler, Alfred Shuler and Russell Shuler.
