Deer Management Meeting

The Missouri Department of Conservation has scheduled 16 public forums in January and February to find out what Missourians think about deer management. Ideas gathered at these meetings will help the Conservation Department develop hunting regulations.

A meeting is scheduled to be held in Chillicothe on Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Chillicothe High School in the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center.
Persons who would like to voice their opinion on the future management of Missouri’s deer herd or hear the changes the Department of Conservation is proposing are encouraged to attend. For more information, persons may call 660-646-6122.
