Robert “Bob” Smith, a 79-year-old resident of Unionville, died early the morning of Friday, Nov. 30, 2007 at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at the Playle and Jones Family Funeral Home in Unionville. Burial was in the Hartford Cemetery in Hartford.
He is survived by his wife, Mae Smith of Unionville; two sons, Robert Smith and his wife, Peggy, of Brookfield, and Rick Smith and his wife, Sandy, of Unionville; a daughter, Debbie Smith of Unionville; a brother, Glen Smith and his wife, Mary, of Unionville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Northeast Missouri.
