The Princeton boys picked up their first basketball win of the season on Wednesday in the Albany Tournament, defeating Stanberry, 45-30.

Princeton dominated from the outset, taking a 14-8 first quarter led. The Tigers led at the half, 18-14, and at the end of three quarters, 34-16.
“We had opportunities to break the game open, but missed to many easy shots,” Coach Dave Richman said. “We played with a lot more defensive intensity after halftime.”
Ethan Stark scored 12 points and had seven rebounds to pace the Tigers. Cory Teeter added 10 points and Jordan Richman had seven rebounds.
The 1-1 Princeton boys will play King City at 7 p.m. on Friday.
