Ralph Collier, an 82-year-old resident of Tupelo, MS, died on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007 at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was a former Trenton resident.

Funeral services will be held at Senter Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton, MS. Mike Deaton will officiate. Pallbearers will be Pat Short, Jerald Dicks, Aaron Graham and Monk Moore. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
A family visitation is being held on Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Collier was born on Aug. 7, 1925 in Itawamba County, the son of Chester and Pearl Scott Collier. He retired from Abbot Laboratories. He also worked for many years as a milk man for Spinney Run Farms. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed listening to country music.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda Short and her husband, Ron, of Fulton; one grandson, Steve Short of Jacksonville, FL; three sisters, Mary Ann Black of Miami, FL, Peggy Graham of Fulton and Patsey Harden of Florence, AL; and one brother, Royce Collier of Golden.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Cecil Ann Collier; his parents; and a sister, Martha Sue Scott.
