Tim and Pat Whitaker, owners of TNT Investments and Trenton Knight’s Inn, have announced they are breaking ground on a new convenience store that will be located west of the Washington Street Food and Drink on 28th Street.

Whitaker said a 3,800-square foot facility, to be called TNT Convenience, will be constructed within the next few months. It will be a typical convenience store and will offer diesel pumps to accommodate large trucks as well as off-road diesel for machinery. The store will carry the Shell name and logo.
“We think this is a natural fit with the motel and restaurant already being there,” Whitaker said. “All of these facilities will compliment each other.
