Judge Jack Peace
Jane E. Caldwell, Princeton, was granted an early release from her probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance. The case had been moved to Grundy County on a change of venue.
Rex A. Winters, 37, 509 Monroe St., was sentenced to serve six years in the Department of Corrections on charges of possession of a chemical with intent to create a controlled substance or controlled substance analogue. He was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections on each of two charges of non-support. The court retained jurisdiction while the defendant completes a long-term treatment program. The sentences are to run concurrently. He had earlier pleaded guilty to the charges.
Lloyd Wayne Cabra, 28, Kansas City, had his stay of execution set aside and was ordered to serve his original sentence of four years in the Department of Corrections on each of his original charges of burglary and unlawful use of a weapon.
James L. Baker, 46, 108 W. 16th St., was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections each on charges of sexual abuse and tampering with a victim in a felony prosecution. The sentences are to run concurrently. Two other charges of tampering with a witness were dismissed.
Ross A. Archer, 41, Jamesport, had his probation revoked on an original charge of tampering with a motor vehicle and was ordered to serve 120 days shock incarceration in the Department of Corrections.
Michael K. Orr, 33, Laclede, had a one-day jury trial set for May 9, 2008 on charges of non-support.
Aaron M. Perez, 20, Trenton, had his probation continued with the additional condition that he successfully complete the Third Circuit Drug Program. His original charge was tampering with a motor vehicle.
Timothy Hogan, 33, 555 N.E. Highway NN, pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to serve three years in the Department of Corrections. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years and was ordered to serve 30 days of shock time and attend a sex offender therapy program.
Christina D. Osbon, 22, 1422 Chestnut St., pleaded not guilty to forgery and second degree burglary and had her request for release on a personal recognizance bond in the penal sum of $10,000 granted. She is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 17, 2008.
Timothy J. Blozvich, 38, 2501 Mable St., was sentenced to serve three years in the Department of Corrections on a charge of driving while intoxicated (persistent offender). Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years and is to complete 16 hours of community service within the next three months and serve five days shock time. He was given credit for one day served.
Jacob H. Gruenwald, 20, 206 E. Fifth St., had his probation revoked and was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections on each charge of stealing and conspiracy to commit the offense of receiving stolen property. The court retained jurisdiction for 120 days, with the defendant to complete an institutional treatment program.
Michael A. Wilson, 20, Trenton, had his probation revoked on an original charge of unlawful use of a weapon and was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years, with the special condition that he serve 95 days shock time, have electronic monitoring and have no contact with his victim. He pleaded guilty to second degree burglary and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for five years and is to serve 95 days shock time. He also pleaded guilty to violating a child protection order and was sentenced to serve 95 days in jail. The jail time is to run concurrently in the Grundy County Jail.
Christopher W. Hendee, 20, Trenton, had his probation revoked on an original charge of stealing and was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years.
Gregory Cain, 40, 1031 McPherson St., waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of up to 35 grams or less of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 13.
Civil Court
FIA Card Services NA vs. Debbie Harrington. The court ruled in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $10,421.66. The case involved confirmation and registration of an arbitration award.
Reta Martin vs. Christopher Hoffman and Jacqueline Hoffman. The court dismissed the case against Christopher Hoffman and granted the defendant’s request to move the case to Mercer County on a change of venue. The case involved personal injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Division II
Judge Steven D. Hudson
Katie L. Coon, 21, Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to speeding and not wearing a seat belt and was fined $22.50, $10 and $58.50 costs.
Amanda D. Miller-Stanton, 28, Macon, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $22.50 and $58.50 costs.
Roger E. Reger, 37, Milan, and Raymond Cox, 68, Lewistown, MT, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $32.50 and $58.50 costs.
Jerit L. Williams, 25, 724 W. 10th St., pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10. A charge of failing to maintain financial responsibility for a vehicle was dismissed.
Michael A. Wilson, 20, Trenton, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to violating a child protection order. He was sentenced to serve 106 days in the Grundy County Jail, with credit given for 98 days served. The sentence is to run concurrently with those in Division I. He is also to pay $106.50 costs and $10 to the CVCF. A charge of violating a protection order for an adult was dismissed.

Municipal Division
Judge Steven D. Hudson
Holly Stieh, 24, 291 S.W. Poplar Ln., pleaded guilty to failing to display valid vehicle license plates and was fined $50.50 and $32.50 costs.
