The permit includes all activities involved in the operation of sources at the plant that have a potential for producing related quantities of regulated air pollutants. Copies of the permits are available for public viewing at the Northeast regional DNR office at Macon or by written request from the Air Pollution Control Program, Operating Permits Unit, PO Box 176, Jefferson City, MO 65102. The file is available for viewing through Dec. 1 and citizens can submit any relevant information, materials and views in support or or in opposition to the permit by that time.
Written comments and/or requests for public hearing are to be sent to James L. Kavanaugh, Missouri Department of Natural Resources Air Pollution Control Program, PO Box 176, Jefferson City, MO 65102. A public hearing would be held after an additional 30-day comment period on the permit if a timely request is made for such a hearing during the comment period and the person requesting the hearing identified material issues concerning the preliminary determination and the Air Pollution Control Program determines that a public hearing will be useful in resolving those issues.
