A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6 to recognize the completion of the Highway 136 road project in Mercer County.

The project has been under way since February and has included replacement of two bridges as well as rebuilding and realigning a section of road from the Highway 65 south junction to just east of the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge. The project also included resurfacing portions of Highway 136 from the Harrison County line to Ravanna.
The ribbon cutting will be held at 10:30 a.m. on the parking lot of the Great Western Bank, located at the junction of Highways 136 and 65 in Princeton.
